This low power photomicrograph shows several ducts to be filled with carcinoma cells. The growth pattern, called cribriform, has multiple round spaces within each duct. Some of these spaces contain microcalcifications. Note that no tumor cells extend beyond the confines of each duct. This is an excellent example of ductal carcinoma in situ (meaning there is no invasion visible). As you are learning, microcalcifications may be seen in both benign and malignant conditions of the breast.
